DAY 3 @ YUNNAN

Day 3!IT WASN'T THAT BAD AFTERALL <:
I was dreading this day since forever 'cuz we had to plant trees + conduct EL teaching. EL teaching would be utter /facepalm & planting trees... I can't take hardship :33 so YES. Wake up call was at 6.30AM, but we woke up at 6. Later because we couldn't wake up xDD So WuYan went to wash up while I continued sleeping :DD
Then we had breakfast, which was the same as Day 2's. After that we went down to the lobby~ then we boarded the bus. Okay it was so freezing cold. I think it was below 10 degrees. WHEN WE BREATHED OUT THERE WAS MIST :DD But cannot see.
So we had to walk in the superb cold weather, but after that, YAY! We reached :D So then we gaaathered & we went in to teach :D I mean D:
Okay so teaching wasn't that bad :D basically cuz I was in charge of writing on the board. HAHA. But I still taught them! But they were really well behaved 'cuz their teacher was in the class. Then they were really enthusiastic <:

I taught letter P! & some other letters which I forgot. Another reason why they were SO OVERLY ENTHUSIASTIC :D is because we gave them A LOT of goodies!
YAY! Oh wait. I forgot to mention, we couldn't even finish teaching the alphabet -.- /fails. We planned on playing games, teaching phrases & all that, but in the end we only taught till letter U or V. But the reason why is because we wanted them to remember how to pronounce! So we ended up going through again & again, 2 hours was spent on pronounciation & all that. Sigh. But it's okay :D
Okay afterwards we went out to do some exercise thing. Basically I was taking pictures & videos of Lin dancing cuz she looked really funny & cute. HAHA. Then the kids were really cute too! 'Cuz the dance thing had cute actions.

After they finished, they got released back into their classes. Then suddenly Zhu laoshi stopped me. The convo went like this:
朱老师：你的华文怎样？
me: 还不错的吗~ [cuz I thought he doubted my ability to teach the students!]
朱老师：好，那就选你了。
me: 选我做什么？
朱老师：做 interview 阿！好，那么我来问你。 你通过这次的EL 教学学到了什么？
me: ．．．我学到了．．． 他们很热心学习！
朱老师：我是问你，你学到了什么。就把这当成是reflection吧！
me: ... ...
朱老师：来啊！
me: ... ...
朱老师：唉，算了。我去找别人试试看。
me: YESSSS~!
I guess he was like totally disappointed/angry. But aiya, I'm not good at reflections, so cannot blame me. Teehee, I tried though.
After a bit more of interaction, we went for lunch! We had a van to & fro. YAY! Yeah, so we had lunch at the same place as the day before. But we had MEATBALLS! The super big ones, that could be shared between a few people. We finished it in like less than a few minutes. We went to the other tables to get more :D Then uh, after that we were playing with the plastic thing. I poked mine till it became like that:
TEEHEE. But that SUPERSUPER big hole that is by Sherri/WuYan, not me :D yeah, then we took the van back to the school.
I DON'T KNOW, BUT VAN RIDES ARE ALWAYS FUN~! Maybe it's because the people who drive aspire to be F1 drivers [quote: YuQing], then they drive like madmen/madwomen. Especially along those bumpy roads. Then we have sound effects. Then we'll start laughing, even Mr Goh xD
Okay so we did tree planting! When we reached, it was like, TOTALLY FREEZING COLD. + the wind was reallyreallyREALLY strong, so we had to hide in the classrooms for a while.
Then we went out after it wasn't really TOO cold. So the principal started explaining the steps of tree planting to OUR GROUP, then we asked questions. But basically 朱老师, the school Principal and Mr Bobby did most of the work, we were just in charge of like plucking the leaves... YEAH. I forgot to take a picture of the plant T-T OHHHH LIN DID THOUGH!
After we finished the 1st tree, Lin, WuYan & I went on to another tree. So we helped 朱老师 to peel the plastic off the roots of the tree sapling. IT WAS TOTALLY HARD. So we were like peeling & peeling, then we barely peeled off half, then 朱老师 was like “好了，不用拔了，把到差不多一半就够了。” so yay! :D
After all the stuff, 朱老师 asked us to go get water. Then get the pails from somewhere else. So we had to T-T & we asked the other classes' teachers/students where we were supposed to get water, then we went. The road was totally &*$%^*#, because there were a lot of broken glasses & it was really muddy.
But the water was worse. It was from a well, & the whole place was wet & muddy. BUT THE GOOD THING IS, this boy [FROM THE P6 CLASS :DD] helped us! So kind right. I was like so touched :')
The worst part was that when we went back, the tree was already watered -.- so we had to look for another plant to water. Oh well.
After we did that WATERING!, Lin disappeared, so WuYan & I went to ask Mr Bobby what to do. He told us to tie the tags to 2 trees. He went with us to look for 2 trees to tie the tags on.
YEAH.
We then went back! Uh, we had dinner at the same place. I shall skip that part.
We had S1 gathering at night! :D so we went to... I think my room? I forgot already. Then anyways, we got into the room then Sherri ran screaming "SWAATHI WENT THE WRONG WAY! HURRY UP HURRY UP CLOSECLOSECLOSE!" HAHAHA. So we did. & then we tried to scare Swaathi. I hid in the closet :3 The whole thing kind of failed, but I sort of scared her. YAY! Then Michelle & Christi had to go to bathe...
We wanted to pull a prank on them as well. But they took like 1hr to bathe so we gave up -.- xD we prank called them though. But mine kind of fell through. YEAH. :/ oh wells.
WE HAD SO MUCH FUN DOING I FORGOT WHAT & THEN WE WENT TO SLEEP, YAY! :D
